It was set as the main objective for industry in the oblast to provide accelerated development of non-ferrous metal industry, chemical, coal mining, oil and construction sectors, as well as industry on reprocessing of local raw material resources.
Within the framework of the State Program of Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development in Turkestan oblast according to Industrialization Map 79 projects are under implementation for total amount of KZT349,3 milliard.
